You should take the steps you would do with any software. There is nothing Primero specific about the steps you must take to mitigate disaster or make backups.

Whatever plan you put in place should follow ISO/IEC 27031, the international standard for business continuity and you first need to determine your [recovery time objectives|https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/recovery-time-objective-RTO] (RTOs) and
recovery point objectives|https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/recovery-point-objective-RPO
