New InForm Adaptor: Enabling Secure Data Sharing with Primero

Dear Community,

Hi everyone! I’m from the OpenFn team, stewards of the OpenFn Digital Public Good. We have been partnering with UNICEF Primero implementers in different countries to deliver open source data integration & workflow automation solutions that enable interoperability between Primero and other digital systems.

We’re thrilled to announce the release of the new InForm Adaptor v1, designed to enable you to securely collect, analyze and act on data collected via InForm (https://inform.unicef.org/).

The InForm adaptor enables secure data sharing between Primero with UNICEF’s InForm platform–and any other app! With the InForm adaptor, you can:

  • Fetch forms and their corresponding submissions from InForm.
  • Retrieve attachments such as images or documents.
  • Save and share this data securely with Primero–and other systems.

:jigsaw: Use Case

You can set up a workflow where new form submissions in InForm automatically create or update cases or referrals in Primero. This reduces manual data entry, ensures timely case registration, and allows frontline staff to act faster.
