.csv exports issue

Hello for TXB V2,

There is an issue with the .csv export.

When user does the following actions below the export contains random codes rather than legible script. I suspect this is to do with exporting while in arabic mode.

Cases> action_ export>.csv> password and export

Our current workaround is enabling .xls export for Caseworkers.

This has come up before. This isn’t an issue with Primero, but rather with how Excel renders Arabic characters in CSV files. You’ll need to enforce UTF-8 encoding on the file in Excel. See this post, where the issue was addressed previously: Export CSV does not format data
